Mortal Kombat

The Mortal Kombat series first landed in the arcades in the 90's.It was a huge money maker and was followed by many games due to it's growing popularity.Best known for it's high levels of blood and gore, the series returns with a fatality to consoles in the reboot Mortal Kombat.

The story in Mortal Kombat is a retelling of Mortal Kombat , Mortal Kombat II , and Ultimate Mortal Kombat III. The game takes place after Mortal Kombat: Armageddon where all that's left is thunder god, Raiden(RAY-den) and Konqueror of realms Shao Khan.Right before Shao Khan finishes him off , Raiden sends a message to his younger self to prevent a doomed future.The story mode will hook you for hours to come.In addition, the gameplay in Mortal Kombat is very fluid and easy to control.Fatalities and babalities make an amazing return as well as some new features. The gauge meter allows you to enhance your moves, break free from enemy attacks and most notably allows you to make an X-Ray attack.One very positive thing to say about Mortal Kombat is that it's packed with loads of kontent. The Krypit allows you to unlock character models, additional fatalities, extra costumes and more. However, it would have been nice if there were more cool content like interviews with the developers or a funny MK short. That's not to say its a bad thing.Also, four DLC characters are available to download to add up your character roster.

Mortal Kombat makes an amazing return in this reboot.It's one of the best fighting games out there.
