Super Mario Galaxy 2

Nintendo's Super Mario Galaxy was amazing.It was a huge leap forward for the Mario series and the Wii and was positively received by fans and critics.Super Mario Galaxy 2 takes every thing the first Galaxy to a whole new level, while introducing some of it's own features.

 The story follows Mario pursuing Bowser into space where he captured princess Peach and plans to take over the universe.Mario must travel to different galaxies to collect stars that can help him advance forward in his quest to stop Bowser. Basically, you don't need to play the first game to understand the story, Super Mario Galaxy 2 forgets the first games story and tells it's own.In terms of game play, it's no different from the original, it remains simple to use.You move Mario using the Wii mote's nunchuk, you hit an enemy by shaking the Wii mote, and you jump by pressing the A button.Some game play elements return such as the flower suit, bee suit , and more.New to the game are Cloud Mario, which let's the player temporary platforms in midair;Rock Mario, allows the player to smash through obstacles: and the spin drill which allows the player drill down to the ground and emerge to the other side.In addition, you will be able to as Yoshi the dinosaur in certain levels, Yoshi can use in tongue to pull levers and swing across gaps as well as swallowing enemies and spit them as projectiles.Graphically, it's hard to tell the difference between SMG2 and the original, SMG2 looks a bit brighter.

Nintendo's Super Mario Galaxy 2 is completely outstanding.It's new game play elements and visuals makes it THE best Mario and Wii game to date.
