Opinion: Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem Gameplay Trailer

 Nintendo's recent "Nintendo Direct" had showcased a lot of interesting games announcements, sadly Zelda Wii U has been delayed till next year. However, one thing that caught my attention was the crossover project between Nintendo and Atlus's Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem Gameplay Trailer, which I had mixed feelings about. 

 First teased back in 2013, SMT X FE featured characters from previous games in both series's, which got me really excited. However, in the trailer shown, they were no where to be found. Moving on, this new project has a bit of a Persona-like style to it, which goes for the gameplay as well, not to mention bright and colorful visuals accompanying it. Also, the characters are all new and, well, have a Persona-like feel rather than SMT or FE. Furthermore, Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem is said to arrive sometime this year in Japan, but there is no word on a North American or European release.

 Well, that's my opinion of SMT X FE's surprising trailer, sorry if my opinion is all over the place, it's just surprising to finally take a look at Nintendo and Atlus's latest project. Nevertheless, I'm eager for future announcements and hopefully I'll end-up liking the game even more.
