Best Story
The Legend Of Zelda : A Link Between Worlds- the series' latest installment proves that Zelda games still have the best stories in gaming.The introduction of Lorule, filled with mysteries and secrets to find,and it's princess Hilda, puts Link and Princess Zelda into an all new adventure only on the Nintendo 3DS.
Best Action
Shin Megami Tensei IV- Shin Megami Tensei fans have been waiting a long time for a fourth entry in the series and it finally arrives on the 3DS. Shin Megami Tensei IV's engaging story and new game play elements gives the series a fresh, new feeling.Battling and recruiting demons on your side is great and the action really hits when your battling more powerful, sometimes nearly impossible, foes.
Best Sound
Fire Emblem Awakening- Intelligent System's latest game in the series is amazing and has met positive reception from critics and fans alike. The voice acting in Fire Emblem Awakening is great and it gives the characters and the world in the game life, not to mention the soundtrack, too.
Best Time Sucker
Animal Crossing New Leaf- The Animal Crossing nightmare returns, by nightmare we don't mean that it's bad or anything, just addicting.Managing your town, customizing and expanding your home may sound easy at first, but wait till you actually do it, it's addicting.
Best Art
The Legend Of Zelda : A Link Between Worlds- At first we were a bit skeptical for the game's art.But it turned out to be just great.It completely suits the game and makes it's way into the game's story as well.In short terms, the game would be just plain and bland without the amusing art.
Most Exploration
Pokemon X and Y- the Pokemon series makes a mega evolution on the Nintendo 3DS with X and Y.The reason why we awarded Pokemon X and Y for best exploration game because of the scale of the Kalos region and the amount of Pokemon to find and collect.Not to mention it's the series' first leap to actual 3D which makes the world more realistic and alive.
Best Character
Luigi from Luigi's Mansion : Dark Moon- 2013 may have been a great year for games, but also it is the year of Mario's younger brother, Luigi.What better way is there to see Luigi scared and petrified than ever in Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon, where you'll see him clearing out mansions full ghosts and rescuing toads along the way.Happy 2013, Luigi.
Best Game Play
The Legend Of Zelda : A Link Between Worlds- The ability to merge with walls and the ability to play any dungeon in any order while retaining the A Link To The Past game play feels both something new and nostalgic for fans who played A Link To The Past and newcomers who are new to the series.It's basically best game play on the 3DS.

Mario and Luigi : Dream Team- Alpha Dream's latest installment in the amazing Mario and Luigi series, Mario and Luigi : Dream Team is filled with goodness and detail.Character animations, items, and the over world is filled with detail, even the smallest of objects are filled with detail.For more DETAILS check our review coming up soon.

The Legend Of Zelda : A Link Between Worlds- it took most our awards for a good reason, it's that good.A Link Between Worlds is a must own for any 3DS owner and is a strong entry in the series.The story,Game play,art,Characters,and so on makes it Acid Game Reviews 3DS Game Of The Year.
