Serving as a successor to the critically acclaimed The Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past, The Legend Of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds contains the style of  it's predecessor while delivering some of its own features for the Nintendo 3DS.


The story follows Link, who must now travel between Hyrule, a bright and peaceful land and Lorule, a dark and gloomy version of Hyrule, to prevent a dark evil from rising.Without going further in, the story is one of the best reasons why A Link Between Worlds is amazing. Game play is in A Link Between Worlds is creative and nostalgic.Controlling Link is similar to that of A Link To The Past, but with new visuals and a captivating  art style.All dungeons in the game can be played at any order, removing the linear feel past games had.Also, Ravio, a merchant, sells all of the main weapons from the start of the adventure and, for the first time in a Zelda game provides the option to rent a weapon at a lower price, making collecting rupees vital.The most notable feature in the game is Link's ability to transform into a drawing and enter walls and cracks scattered throughout Hyrule and Lorule. This ability helps Link enter new areas finding rupees and heart containers.The soundtrack for the game is nostalgic,containing memorable tunes form the past as well as new ones. Side quests are entertaining and will keep you playing even after you finished the main game.Some of the side quests consists of collecting heart pieces to increase Link's life, finding the master ore to strengthen the legendary master sword, the baseball mini-game helps get easy rupees ,and finally searching for the lost Maiamai and bringing them to their mother will provide upgrades for items such as the bombs and the hook shot.


The Legend Of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds is the best portable Zelda game and one of the best on the 3DS. The story, characters, game play, and more makes it a contender for 3DS Game Of The Year.
