Thief

Developed by Eidos Montreal and published by Square Enix, comes the revival of the first three Thief  games, Thief. Not many reboots success, but does Thief have a chance?

You take the role of Garret, master thief, whom returns to his home, The City, only to be found it being ruled by a tyrant named The Baron.Thief's story isn't  the best in series, but is still engaging.Game play, however, could have seen more improvement. The ability to choose your approach in a level and use the environments to your advantage  are a nice addition. The swooping and focus abilities are pretty good. However, The City's layout feels poorly designed and limited.Furthermore, enemy A.I isn't really smart and some of Garret's weapons aren't used creatively.Another major criticism is the absence of Stephen Russell as Garret. The new voice actor for Garret just feels stiff and flat. What distinguishes thief from other games is it's unique and supernatural atmosphere and great characters.Lastly, there are some reputability to Thief, choosing to be a ghost, opportunist, and predator gives some rewards and the new Bank Heist DLC will keep you playing for a while.

Thief is a solid entry in the series, though it tries to introduces something new, it poorly executes it.
