Titanfall

From the developers of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, one of this year's most anticipated shooter, Titanfall has arrived.Will it be Xbox and PC's and this year's best multiplayer shooter?


Titanfall's multiplayer campaign consists of two factions, the IMC and the Militia as they struggle to beat each other, finishing both faction's campaign will unlock a new Titan chassis.While it's not the main feature of the game, it's still could have been improved.Game play is the best part of Titanfall. There are two major classes, Pilots and Titans.Pilot are free running soldiers that can run on walls, double jump, grab onto zip-lines. The Titans however, are the stars of the game. The Titans are giant robot mechas who are slow,but packs a large punch.If the Titan takes too much damage, the pilot is forced to eject from it and must wait till it's ready again.There are different types of Titans.The balanced Atlas, The heavy and powerful Orge, and the thin and speedy Stryder. As for the weapons, pilots have access to a sniper rifle,shotgun, machine gun, assault rifle, and the best weapon in the game, the smart pistol Mk5. In terms of multiplayer modes, Titanfall has a small amount of selections. Attirition is where it's everyone for themselves, like a Team Deathmatch. Furthermore, there is Pilot Hunter, which is similar to Atrittion. Also, Hard point Domination, where the objective is to capture and defend areas in the map.Lastly, Capture the Flag and last Titan Standing, where everyone is a Titan and has one life, are usually the most entertaing of the bunch.Visually, Tianfall looks and preforms better on PC, but also runs great on Xbox One.Furthermore, the game feels like a current-gen game rather than next-gen, which doesn't detract from the experience at all, but is noticeable .

Titanfall is this year's unique and addictive shooter.Playing with the Titans is endless fun, especially with friends.Despite it's problems with the useless story and minor issues with visuals, it's still a must play for those looking for a great shooter and reason to get an Xbox One.
