Top 10: Game Boy Advance Games


The Game Boy Advance was considered by many to be one of the greatest handheld consoles of all time, selling nearly 45 million units, it was a huge success for Nintendo. This month, some Game Boy games have made their way into the Wii U Virtual Console service with hits such as Metroid Fusion, Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga, and Advance Wars, serving as launch titles and more to come later on. So in celebration of this, why not list the games that made the GBA famous in the first place? Taking

Mario Kart: Super Circuit- No Nintendo system would be complete without a Mario Kart game.Mario Kart Super Circuit was one of the best racing games on the GBA. Retaining the classic Mario Kart game play and recreating all of the 20 courses from the original Super Mario Kart made Super Circuit a memorable title.

WarioWare, Inc: Mega Microgames$- No game boy games without this one.Mega Microgames$ is one of the most fun to play games on the GBA. Playing each micro game is fast, fun , and completely random ( due it 2-3 second length).Nevertheless, it's a must play.

Sonic Advance- One of Sonic's best games to hit the GBA. Actually, it was the first Sonic game to be released on a Nintendo handheld console.Advance featured every thing that makes a Sonic game, intense speed, giant levels, and challenging boss fights.

Mega Man Zero- Taking place a century after the events of Mega Man X, Mega Man Zero proved to be successful as the rest in the franchise. Retaining  the classic Mega Man game play, while making things much harder.Due to it's success it got three other sequels on the GBA.

Pokémon LeafGreen/FireRed- 
The Pokémon series dosent need any introduction.The game has you collecting different pokemons scatterd througout the game as well as and battling many pokemon trainers.While that sounds simple, there is a lot of things to do in LeafGreen and FireRed, which makes it one of the GBA's best games.

Kirby & the Amazing Mirror- Controlling multiple Kirbys never felt this fun before. Not to forget the abilities and the replay value it offered, Kirby & the Amazing Mirror offers the best plat forming experience on the GBA.

The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap- One of the most underrated Zelda games. The Minish Cap's balance of game play and the ability for Link to shrink and explore the tiny world of Picori makes one of the most enjoyable games on the GBA.

Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga- One of those unique and memorable RPG's on the GBA, the other games in the series are great, but not as not as memorable as Superstar Saga.

Advance WarsOne of the best tactical RPGs for the Game Boy Advance. Deploying missiles, tanks, and armed units at your enemy never felt this fun. Also, it's bright and colorful style really makes it stand out among other Game Boy Advance games.

Metroid Fusion- Basically the best GBA game ever made.Fusion was one the best platformers on the GBA. Chronologically, the last game in the series Fusion focuses on Samus investigating an invested space station, while being chased by an evil copy of her, the SA-X.Which made it one of the best and memorable games of the Game Boy Advance.
