Top 10 HD Remasters

The Legend Of Zelda: Wind Waker HD
HD remasters are everywhere these days, recently is the upcoming Halo: Master Chief Collection for Xbox One and Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster for PS3 and PS Vita, which released earlier this year. Also, there is the Resident Evil REmake remaster for next and current-gen systems, which is our most anticipated game next year. These remasters just keep on going, and here our best picks.

#10
Resident Evil 4 HD- Resident Evil 4 marked a new chapter in the series, which ended up being the series' biggest and most remembered game. While this HD update doesn't change much, it's still a must-play.The engaging narrative and horror elements still shines even after it's debut in 2005.

#9
Beyond Good & Evil HD- Originally released in 2003, Ubisoft's Beyond Good & Evil was an ambitious and amazing game. However, poor sales prevented the game from becoming a full-fleged franchise. Fortunately, Beyond Good & Evil HD gives those who missed it and a new generation of gamers to experience Jade's quest to uncover these sudden alien invasions. It's must-check for those interested in one of the most overlooked games.

#8
Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMix- Last year, Square Enix offered Kingdom Hearts fans Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMixFinal Mix and Re:Chain of Memories are handled well in this HD update. The same goes for 358/2 Days's remastered cutscenes. Sora's journey, along with favorite Disney characters are memorable and shines in this HD update, with a fair budget price.

#7
God of War Collection- Two of PlayStation 2's best action games, God of War and God of War II, have been remastered in HD with trophy support, as well as 3D compatibility (if you're into that).Kratos is looking better than before slicing and ripping heads off in the name of vengeance. If you hadn't the chance of playing two of these great games, the HD edition is the way to go.

#6
Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster- Another of Square Enix's recent HD remasters are two of the PS2's classic JRPGs, Final Fantasy X and X-2. FFX's Tidus's journey to defeat the whale-like Sin is a memorable one and still holds well to this day, though X-2's Yuna's isn't as amazing as it's predecessor. The HD visuals are stunning and the world of Spira and blitzball feels great in this HD remaster.

#5
Halo Combat Evolved: Anniversary- Microsoft's 2001 sci-fi shooter, Halo: Combat Evolved, gets an HD treatment for it's 10 anniversary.Featuring new multiplayer maps from previous games and containing one of the best campaigns in gaming, and the ability to play the original game or it's HD counterpart, developer 343 Industries have created a faithful recreation.

#4
Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Collection- Updating two of the PS2's most treasured games with HD visuals and trophy support, The Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Collection is a must own for those who have missed them in the past. The sheer amount of creativity and wonder are reasons enough to consider the HD collection.

#3
Okami HD- Okami was an amazing game when it hit the PS2.It later received a Wii port, which allowed you to control the celestial brush with the Wii mote. However, Okami HD on the PS3 is the definitive experience. The environments and character models have seen major improvements.

#2
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD- The original Wind Waker didn't need an HD remake (which shows how well it aged), but Nintendo did it anyway with The Wind Waker HD.Wind Waker  is gorgeous in HD and issues such as sailing have been improved, it's a must own title if you're buying a Wii U.

#1
Metal Gear Solid HD Collection- Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 were timeless for their time, and manage to look even more stunning in HD.Also, bundled in this collection is the PSP game, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, which benefits the most with full screen and dual analog stick support. The convoluted storyline is present and is still engaging after all these years, not to mention the memorable boss fights and characters. If you haven't played any of these classics, it's highly recommended in this HD package.
