Pikmin 3

After being a success on the Game Cube and Wii, the Pikmin series returns on the Nintendo Wii U with Pikmin 3.With new additions and visuals, Will the series' new installment be a Wii U must own?

The plot follow three explorers from planet Koppai,  Alph, Brittney, and their captain Charlie.Their mission is to travel to planet PNF-404 to search for fruit and befriend pikmin in order to save their planet from starvation .Pikmin 3 retains the game play of the first two games with the player controlling up to 100 pikmin but expands upon it.Since the player controls up to three players, it gives the advantage of finishing tasks and puzzles more quickly and time efficiently.Returning pikmin are the red, which are fierce fighters and are resistant to fire, Yellow , shock proof , expert diggers, and can be thrown at high distances, and blue, which are water loving.New pikmin are the winged pikmin  and rock pikmin. Winged pikmin can help lift gates, beat flying enemies, and carry items while flying.Rock pikmin pack a punch when thrown at enemies and help break barriers, enemy armor, and best of all cannot be crushed. There are different control schemes to play Pikmin 3, The Wii U Game Pad, the Wii U Pro Controller, and the Wii remote and nunchuk, while the Wii U Game Pad serves as a map. Pikmin 3 supports two player competitive mode and Mission mode, where the player has a limited amount of time to collect fruit and items. The boss battles in the game tend to be tense and requires careful planning and startegy to defeating them, giving the game a more challenging feel. The soundtrack for the game is nice and matches the feeling and mood of the setting.

Pikmin 3 is fun, creative, and amazing. It is a Wii U must have and an instant classic.
